PM Modi commends Egypt’s role in Gaza peace, reinforces strengthening India-Egypt ties

New Delhi, Oct 17 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and lauded Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his pivotal role in facilitating the Gaza Peace Agreement. The meeting highlighted the growing strategic partnership between India and Egypt, underlining its significance for both countries and the wider region.
“India-Egypt Strategic Partnership continues to grow from strength to strength for the benefit of our people, our shared region, and humanity,” PM Modi said in a post on X, emphasising the deepening ties.
The discussions reflected a mutual commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors, including trade, technology, energy, defence, and people-to-people connections.
PM Modi thanked President Sisi for his leadership in advancing peace, signaling India’s support for regional stability.
Both leaders stressed the importance of sustained regional dialogue and collaboration to tackle common challenges, reinforcing the positive momentum in India-Egypt relations and their shared vision for peace and prosperity.
